Playmobil's Police HQ and Prison
I found a new toy from Playmobil which got Wolfie very interested. Although it is a bit much and I have no reason right now to buy it for him, I'd really, really, really love to. It's a Police Headquarter with Prison and it won a price for preschool toys apparently (see picture). It has cops, criminals, it is completed with surveillance equipment and towers. The hours of fun I could have, I mean he could have playing with it, as well as building a mind to appreciate crime fiction (like his Playmobil police car). I might buy it for his birthday, if I can wait that long.

Prisons are violent and barbaric places that brutalize both prisoners and guards. I'm surprised PlayMobil would consider it to be a suitable plaything for children.
Mettons que c’est pas le timing le plus génial pour psrler de ce genre de jouet.
@Debra-Maybe it is not the right time to blog about such toy, as my brother said, which is meant to be just that, a children toy to do make belief role play, obviously sugar coated in a naive setting. It is not meant to represent reality. I have been trying to blog about the current events in the US, but so far I found the topic too depressing and frankly, I am not sure what I can say that is relevant, except that Trump is an ugly swine.
Incidentally, it would not be the first time a Playmobil toy is controversial: https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/anti-gun-campaigners-speak-out-against-1647354
@PJ-Sans doute non, mais il n'y avait aucune malice dans mon intention. Je voulais bloguer sur ça depuis un bout de temps, j'ai décidé de le faire hier sans trop penser à une autre connotation.
The timing with the US news/riots has nothing to do with my comment. I'm just genuinely surprised that a major toy manufacturer would produce such a "toy" to stimulate children's imaginations. Just typing that last phrase makes me shake my head. Toys are exactly how culture and values are transmitted to kids. They are not value-free, "reality-less," innocent depictions of our world.
