George Eliot about autumn

I know close to nothing about George Eliot, in fact I know nothing of her apart from her pen name. And shame on me, as this is what she once wrote about autumn: "Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." I love this and agrees with it very much.

I agree -- it's a gorgeous quotation!
