September, Autumn, Harvest...

Happy first of September everyone. The first day of autumn (yes, yes, it is, at least meteorologically speaking). And to celebrate the coming of my favourite season, as our usual tradition on Vraie Fiction, here is a basket display made by my parents a few years ago. It is a sort of horn of plenty, with apples, crabapples, apple jelly, crab apple jelly and other stuff. As autumn is also the time for harvest.
