I took this picture yesterday, on the shop window of
Tinc. It was not nearly as bad as
last year, with the atrocious "
Glow Back to School" word play that was just rubbing it in. All the same, I know I am an adult and thus should not feel like it, but at the end of August, when I see such window in the town center, I feel the blues and a certain dread. And they advertise it everywhere. I remember my dad asking me when I was a child if I was looking forward to go back to school and he always received a grumpy answer. Not that I was bad at school or anything, I just didn't want to be there. It was only in cégep (college for Anglo-Saxon countries) that I started looking forward to the beginning of the school year. But that is for another blog post (although I am sure I blogged about it before). Now I wanted to mention that I hate seeing these kinds of shop windows around this time of year.

i am weird...i loved going back to school.
I feel the same way...I always hated "Back to School" as a kid, and still get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I see these signs to this very day.
I enjoyed school when I was a little girl! Love your photo of the shop window! Bonjour de Montreal! :)
