A dark and stormy day (?)
Sometimes, circumstances create the topic of your countdown to Halloween post. Which is the case now: it has been raining, sometimes pouring, and there have been thunderstorms going on since this morning at least. Thunderstorms. In October. You know the famous incipit "It was a dark and stormy night", which could be used as a cliché opening line for many scary stories, good or bad. Well, today is a dark and stormy day, and it reminds me that even clichés can be sometimes real.

Oooops! Just saw your previous post and realized you are no longer in Quebec. Guess I won't have to tie down the props after all :)
