Master Wolfie
Here is a charming little British tradition I discovered since I became a father: they use the word Master as a form of address for young boys. In the Wikipedia entry, they say that it is used for male heirs of a large estate, which is not the case for our son. It is a bit restrictive, however: when we got him prescribed medication, "Master" was on the form before his name. For doctors, dentists and others, he us therefore Master Wolfie. Which makes sense: he kind of rules the household sometimes, or tries to, and wherever he goes behaves like a ruler. So Master as a form of address is our word of the day. And it might become one of Wolfie's sweet names.

When I was a kid, I remember being taught that the male equivalent of the title "Miss" is "Master." It's pretty archaic -- both terms, really.
