There's something to be excited about this year which I haven't blogged about yet: South African crime writer Deon Meyer should have a new novel published in English, Donkerdrif in its original title. It will feature the return of sober alcoholic Benny Griessel, his colleague Vaugh Cupido, some wine estate (the Donkerdrif of the title) and it all sounds very promising. I can barely wait.
