A free Monday

Today was a free Monday for me: I had a few extra holidays to take until the end of the working year, so I took Monday off. Well, technically, I am still on holidays, as the day would end at 05:30PM. I did not do much but a few house chores, doing a bit of shopping and recovering parcels (Christmas presents that arrived late due to border taxes) It always feels a bit strange to be in town free of your time on a Monday, while everybody else is busy working. Finally unwrapping the Christmas presents was the highlight of this Monday. I wonder if I should say that Christmas comes early or late. In any case, the gifts made this Monday far more enjoyable that it would have been otherwise and a true holiday in itself.
