Father's Day

It is Father's Day today. Not much to say about it, ironically, except that I will wish happy birthday to my father, Wolfie's garnd-papa. And to my father-in-law too. We will go to a birthday party for two of Wolfie's school friends. Come to think of it, it's kind of fitting. It still feels strange sometimes to think of myself as a father, yet I cannot imagine my life without my son. We are not going anywhere after the birthday party, because I think going to a pub or restaurant on a holiday is always a mistake (things are overbooked and often result in poor service and even worse experiences), but I suspect Wolfie and his mummy have something prepared for me.
