Book Donations

At Wolfie's school recently, they made a special activity: a Book Donations day, to give away books we don't want anymore. My wife took it with a sight of relief: at last she could decluster this house a bit, as it is filled with books. I, on the other hand, don't like or want to give away any of my books, even the bad ones. I always feel a loss. But it makes sense. I guess I have to learn not to be selfish. It had of course to be children books, which is even better, as Wolfie has inherited of many, many books from friends, friends of friends and family. In fact, we have more books than he cares to read and we have sometimes more than one copy of the same book. So Wolfie had to choose which one he was happy to give away. He chose... one.
