This is another seasonal post. I will try to bring variety here, but this post and others like this one are in fact therapeutic. As many of my long time readers know, I find November positively and utterly depressing, especially here in England when there is no snow showing up. It is the month of agonising autumn that is about to turn into winter. Between two seasons, unable to be completely one or the other, it is a bitter month. I always found it anyway. But this year I decided to make peace with it, or try to appreciate it a bit more. And I think I might manage it.
It started last weekend, when I took the picture on the upper right.I was looking at the window, it was sunny, the trees were getting bare and suddenly there was a gush of wind that took away many of the leaves of this tree. It was just beautiful. I took a few snapshots. It doesn't give it justice. And last Friday, as I was walking to buy my lunch (not at this sandwich shop, but at another one that was actually quite decent), there was a light rain and in spite of the grey clouds and the miserable look of my surroundings (I was walking through a business park), I thought the rain and the cloud gave it a nice film noir atmosphere. And I discovered to my great surprise that I was really enjoying it. Something grim and gloomy can be quite aesthetic too.

A beautiful pic Guillaume
Love the colors of the leaves and how they create a blanket on the ground once fallen.
Le mercure a atteint les 18 degrés Celsius dans la capitale canadienne. Un record de chaleur pour cette date. Moi c'est ça qui me déprime bien plus que la grisaille. Au moins si les températures étaient de saison.
When we left Oslo, fog was slowly creeping through the valleys and I found it incredibly magical.
