The new ticket office

I took this picture at the National Railway Museum of York. It's a good old fashioned ticket office, like you don't often see anymore. Our local train station is very small, it has only one platform going in one direction and no ticket office of any kind. That is, until now: they have added a few things, extra benches, roofs for the rain and... one ticket selling point. Granted, it is nothing like the one on this picture, in fact it is a ticket machine, not a proper ticket office, but it should make our railway travels much easier and less stressful. I still hope for a proper ticket office in the future, to give the station a bit of character.
