I took this picture at the National Railway Museum in York. It struck me today that I hadn't taken a train since June 2017, for our last holidays in the UK. That is an extremely long time for me. I am in need of a holiday, and I miss train travels a lot. I will therefore start planning our next train journey. As my readers know, for me the journey by train is part of the pleasure of holidays, sometimes more pleasant than the destination itself.

The next train to take
