The Newsagent Robbery
And now for a little bit of very local crime news: one of the nearest corner shops from where we live was attacked this week. A robber came and threatened the shop owner at knife point. It is literally ten minutes from here, if that. A small corner shop that is on a long but narrow road, one of the first business that I saw in this town when I was looking for a place to rent ten years ago. I even checked a flat next to it. The Ticklers go there sometimes to buy chocolates and sweets. Readers of my blog now that this quiet little town is not always so quiet. When it comes to crimes, its recent history has been eventful: burglaries, burglaries of garages, jewellery heist... And now this. My wife suspects crime might go higher since the local police station has closed down. I have two things to say about this: 1)I am glad I know Krav Maga and want to go back into training and 2)there is a crime story or two to be written about this event.

Crime is everywhere, no doubt about it. Drugs.
I know, even the fast food places get robbed. It feels like such a shock!
