Something struck me recently: since our return in England, we have not been into a pub. Not a single time since 2018. That is way too long, I am ashamed to say. So a visit is in order. Just speculating about it gets exciting: should be a pub we know, or a new one? Either way, I hope it will be an old fashioned pub, with a fireplace like in this picture. This was taken in one of our favourite local pubs, which sadly has now closed down. I prefer old ones, I find them cozier and they tend to be more family friendly.

The next pub

I've heard that pub culture is dying out in England. Have you found that to be true?
over here we call these dive bars! my favorite kind to frequent!
Oh, that's sad to read that your favorite pub has now closed! I keep hoping to make it to England and have that good pub experience!
