Today, I had a few hours alone with my son as my wife was seeing a friend, so I went to the local bookshop. I mostly behaved myself and did not buy much, only three books, one for him, one for me and one for the whole family (my wife reads Kindles now so I rarely buy her books without batteries). I might blog more about them later. The results of this little afternoon adventure: I got enough loyalty points for a five pounds worth voucher and a free bag as a reward. The person at the till did not pronounce my name properly,
unlike some others, but I am confident she will get there eventually. After all, I will come back soon, I have five pounds to spend.

Yes, I can imagine that "Guillaume" is a bit of a poser for many Brits. Do you get "Gwillym" a lot?
