
This has been part of my breakfast since I came to my parents' house: an oatmeal muffin, as much a treat as a healthy muffin (because it has oatmeal in it). This is how you must eat an oatmlea muffin: hot, open in half, with a lot of butter on it for good measure. As you can tell, I am a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to oatmeal muffins. I often blogged about them in French, I even published the recipe
once. It is an old family recipe. As early as I can remember, my family baked them and for years these were the only
true muffins I thought existed. The others were cakes in disguise. One day, I might publish the recipe in English, so you can enjoy them too.
