Good old Qwert Yuiop
I am typing this from my youngest brother's laptop. It took us ages to set it up properly: the default keyboard was French. That might sound like absolutely trivial for my English readers, but it was a borderline catastrophic situation: it means that the keyboard was set as an Azert Yuiop (or Azerty as it is officially called), not a Qwert Yuiop, like the ones I use. That they have French default keyboard settings on laptops sold in Québec, which is basically a Qwerty with French accents easily accessible. I am glad we solved the issue, because I wanted to blog about my time home, but I cannot type with Azert. Moral of the story: whoever came up with the Azerty keyboard layout was a complete imbecile.
