Rediscovering English winter
I haven't been back here for 24 hours and I have noticed (again), the particularity of English winter: it's colder inside. I was expecting the snow that fell last week and which is still here. I was not expecting, however, that I would be freezing at minus 5. Or that I would be freezing inside the Heathrow bus station. The doors were wide open, and it was just as cold inside as it was outside. I should have expected it, but I didn't. And while I had a warm coat, it didn't feel warm enough. Maybe it was a symptom of the jet lag, but I wish I had brought with me my Kanuk coat. Unfortunately, I thought I would only need it Québec. I was foolish, but hopefully I will remember next time.

Déjà de retour?
Il parait qu'il va faire froid encore longtemps sur le vieux continent!
Your'e alive! We just closed up all of our windows as the temperature is dropping quickly outside here as well; not nearly as cold as where you are though.
