Of fog and mist

For tonight's countdown to Halloween, let's talk about the weather. No Halloween time would be completed without one foggy or at least misty day. I was lucky this morning going to work: it was misty, borderline foggy. It would have set the atmosphere beautifully for a scary story. Unfortunately it didn't last very long and by midday it was all gone. But we had our atmospheric spooky bit of fog/mist. And for the difference between the two, please read the following article from the Met Office. It's not because we muse about the supernatural that we cannot be aware of scientific realities.

it was foggy here too this morning. i am still feeling so low after losing teddy. i haven't been commenting much. i haven't been in a great mood i guess. my fall is ruined. i am such a sad sack!

We had quite a bit of foggy late nights here in Indiana this month but that is nothing to the gloominess of overcast days that we have had alot this month lol.

@Jaz-I am really sorry about Teddy. You should never apologize for grieving or not commenting.
@Alexis-We haven't had a proper fog since January at least. They usually appear from November onward, October is still early, so at best we have mist then.
