Of early birds and night owls

We had to wake up early this morning because our new fridge was being delivered before 08:00AM. I don't even wake that early to go work, let alone on a Saturday morning. But we did it, after a night struggling to sleep as we don't go to bed early at weekends. And as soon as the delivery men were gone we went back to bed and had a long, long nap. We woke before midday to discover that a friend (the father of the Ticklers)had mowed the lawn of our garden, which was looking like a jungle. Since he helped us moving that was another proof of his generosity. Moral of the story: I'm most definitely a night owl and I owe a good deal to an early bird.

Ah, le plaisir mâle de tondre le gazon. C'est aussi une tâche plate qu'il faut faire plus ou moins régulièrement, selon les affres de la météo.
