If there is one thing an outsider needs to know about Bonfire Night, is that it truly lasts all November. November in England is in fact the month of fireworks. To sum it up, there are more fireworks tonight, coming from everywhere apparently, every back garden. And I have a scared cat hiding under the bed. I like fireworks and I love the smell of their smoke in the November night, but tonight my wife and I find them particularly menacing.Saturday 7 November 2015
