A crisp autumn day

A short post tonight. I might sound like a broken record. Not might, actually, I do sound like a broken record. But today was a perfect autumn day. It was sunny, it was just chilly enough, it was windy enough. And the light! Oh the light was simply beautiful. Autumn light always is, in morning or evening. It is a soothing light. Going to work, I was longing for staying outside, just walking around. I am in the mood for tea and biscuits, or hearty food after a long walk in the crisp autumn air. I hope we have this weather over the weekend.

Cher Guillaume, je venais ici via Black Box. I think it is fascinating comme tu parles English and French equally well! Me, I am from Germany und ich spreche meistens Deutsch. I liked your calling les champignons fairy-stuff. That was new to me!
Here in North Germany, autumn has also begun. Spider webs are everywhere. we call this time Altweibersommer. Cheers et salut de Angela

But that's what I like about you Guillaume....I like how you pay such close attention to all the details of nature around you....the animals, the light, the trees etc. So many people never take time out of their busy lives to notices these wonders all around them. But YOU do! Happy Autumn Day to you sir! :o)
