A (cruel) great unknown line
So I am battling with a nasty cold these days. When I have a cold, I cough a lot, and I keep coughing a few days after the cold is gone. Colds are nastier on me. Anyway, so I was having a coughing fit at work, feeling miserable, when my manager told me: "If you are going to die, die in silence." I have to admit, I thought it was really funny, even if it was a joke at my expense.

How nice of him ;)
Caring bloke. Would have been nice if he had told you to go home and stay in bed. But I must admit that is funny (at your expense:-)
At least your cold hasn't killed your sense of humour. :)
It's been a rough season here too. I've been sicker this winter than I've been in years.
Just getting over the flu, it has been brutal. Hope that you are feeling better by now :-)
