A new year means a new reading list for this avid book reader. As I bought a lot last year and I haven't had the chance to read all the titles, I don't intend to stop by the local bookshop to buy more (however tempted I am). I will plough through every book I already have, big and small. For the first few months, it will mostly be crime fiction, with one or two spy thrillers (or hybrid crime/spy novels). Well, if you have been following this blog for a while this should not come as a surprise, but there you go. And you, what do you intend to read this year?

I've got a couple of books on the go which I hope to finish -- the autobiography of one of Canada's top criminal defence lawyers, and the other, a novel about a charmingly dippy British woman.
