Celebrating the local bookshop

Great bit of local news: the town's independent bookshop will soon celebrate its first year of opening! They will start celebrating a bit earlier than the official opening, which was in August, but never mind, they decided to start the party from the time the project was announced which is fair enough. So it has been nearly a year and they will be offering in a few days a 20% voucher for the occasion. It would be rude not to go. I am ever so grateful to have a local independent bookshop. It really made this town/village whole and made me love it more. In fact, it is maybe the one local business that really made me feel like I belong to this town and made me feel proud about it.
