About the muffins of Marks & Spencer

This is a trivial post for Sunday evening. They usually get most attention. The muffins of Marks & Spencer have now become my main source of breakfast. I still have a jar of Kraft peanut butter, but I want to save it a bit. It never lasts long. So anyway I eat muffins, which I buy when they are reduced to clear. I buy mainly  the ones with chocolate chips and the blueberry ones. I usually don't like blueberry muffins, they often taste like perfume when you buy them in a shop. I have discovered a way to improve the taste of both: microwave them. It sort of diminishes the perfume taste of the blueberry muffins and it turns the chocolate chips muffins from tasting ok to taste absolutely delicious. Seriously, it turns the breakfast into a great gastronomical experience and probably helps the release of endorphin. So that was my baking tip for the day: when you want to eat M&S muffins, those sorts anyway, warm them up first in the microwave. I would have been such a great baker.

hey Guillaume, you might like to try baking some muffins in your kitchen.. it's easy.. can't go wrong that way... and fresh from the oven are irresistible and you can change them this way and that by adding different ingredients to spice them up..

Microwaving can give new life to baking powder biscuits and scones too.

Je vais aller dans le même sens que Gwen: t'es pas manchot, fais-les donc toi-même tes muffins. C'est ce que je fais régulièrement moi-même. C'est pas difficile pantoute.
