Family farewell
Tonight, we had the last evening with my parents for their visit. They are going back to Québec tomorrow morning. I feel like it was too short. They helped us tremendously tidying this house and making it more homely, they also helped us cleaning and folding our clothes. I am embarrassingly bad folding clothes, my wife might be even worse believe it or not (although she'll probably deny it), but my mother is a natural clothes folder. And it was so great to see them with little Wolfie and interacting with him. He really bonded with his grandparents, giving them his best smiles. So we will miss them for many reasons. It struck us that even though we have many friends nearby, we are far from our family and sometimes it makes things a bit more difficult and a bit more exhausting. In any case, we are all feeling a bit melancholic tonight, Wolfie included.

awwwww....so glad you had a nice visit. it's so helpful to have family there when you have a newborn.
I'm sure they'll visit again soon -- Wolfie's smiles will draw them back!
So happy you had a great visit with family!
