A walk in a quiet city

Happy New Year 2015 everyone! I hope you are enjoying its first day. Today, my wife and I took a walk on the Plateau Mont-Royal in the early afternoon. There was a bit of snow falling, almost every shop was closed, save for the odd café and dépanneur. It was surreal to see how quiet Mont-Royal Avenue was. Only a few walkers, even less cars. It was lovely. I enjoy Montréal when it is buzzing, but it is a nice bit of variety to experience it like this, a quiet city on a quiet winter day.
