First sign of Halloween

I might be of one track mind these days, but circumstances sometimes seem to accomodate the mind, and the inspiration. In any case, I saw yesterday the first commercial sign of Halloween in the shops. The local Marks & Spencer had Jack O'Lanterns made of paper on display in the windows. Not in every window, but one half of them. On the 15th of September, no less. This is very early in England to advertise Halloween, usually Christmas advertisement shows up earlier, in one form or another. I was to say the least happily surprised. When I went in the shop today I saw Halloween chocolates on sale. I didn't buy any, but found their presence reassuring.

Happy to hear it! Everytime we travel to the UK around this time we are sad to see so few Halloween things. Glad to see things are changing!

Cheers!
