This picture was taken in
Derbyshire. I use it with this post because it looks like it now outside: while the colours of autumn are not all quite here, you can feel in the air that the season has most definitely arrived. Last year
almost day by day, I was getting desperate to see signs of autumn on the hottest day of September on record. This year, it is far cooler outside. It feels like a proper September, like the ones of old. So I can safely say that autumn is here.
