It is here...

Have you seen it? Do you feel it like I do? Yes, it is already here: the post-Christmas blues. Today was the last day of the holiday and tomorrow I get back to work. I have been feeling low all day. Sure, officially we are still in the twelve days of Christmas and there is the new year coming. But let's face it: Christmas is done and dealt with and New Year is not really (for me at least) a great deal. So I am officially melancholic. I mean more than usual.

I hope you feel better soon, for me taking the tree down helps shuffle those blues out the door, as far as I'm concerned Christmas 2015 is done and dusted,,
bring on the New Year,, best wishes to you and your family,,

Seems like the time did pass all too quickly! Here, though, we are looking forward to the New Year! Cheer up! Blessings abound!

I am okay with it. I had a good Christmas.

It's just always kinda morose if you're not a) A kid, or b) The parent of a kid.

Now to see out the rest of the long bleak winter.

Yeah, unless I'm traveling or visiting with family/friends the holiday starts to go downhill for me by 3 pm on Christmas Day. I think it's kinda natural considering all the anticipation and excitement leading up to that one day. New Year's has never been a big deal for me. So that week in between always feels a bit like limbo.

I find watching those "This is the Year that was" or similar countdown shows help :)

I never got any x-mas feeling this year, so the blues is off too.
