My wife took this picture a few weeks ago, walking back with little Wolfie from a gathering of mummy and babies. You can easily recognize a
red kite on the top branches. Red kites abound in this region of England and our town/village in particular. It is not rare to see them flying at low altitude. I call them our avian
neighbours. But I have rarely seen one from so close and it is nice to have such a good picture of it. Apparently it is often in this tree when my wife walks back from town. I hope I can see it one day.
