Joyeuses Pâques 2020

Joyeuses Pâques tout le monde. Voici tout le chocolatspascal que l'on a ramassé cette année. Ce n'est pas énorme, surtout pas comparé à d'autres années. En fait, j'ai hésité à montrer la photo (ma femme m'a demandé de ne pas le faire sur Facebook). Cette année, on n'a pas pu se stocker autant que l'on aurait voulu, pandé ie oblige. L'année dernière, c'était un vrai pactole.  Mais rien comparé aux excès de mon enfance québécoise. Qu'à cela ne tienne,petit loup a eu un grand plaisir à manger son oeuf en chocolat et à voler un peu du lapin de papa. Et ce fut une journée vraiment bien remplie. et plaisante. Pour bien célébrer Pâques, on n'a pas besoin de grandes sorties. Du chocolat et un jardin suffisent.

Wolfie and the Advent Calendar

I bought for this Thorntons' Cheeky Elf Advent Calendar for Wolfie, for a number of reasons. Because it is not one of those cheap Advent calendars but a fairly fancy calendar that has a chocolate of fairly good quality, with plenty of games to keep him entertained and patient waiting for Christmas. Or so I thought, in my naivety.I also thought that it is fitting that he has an Advent calendar featuring a cheeky elf. Better than Santa Claus himself, as he dislikes Santa Claus. It turned out that Wolfie understood very well the principle of eating chocolate for Advent. But he did not understand very well the principle  of one chocolate a day. The first day was a real torture, when I told him he had to wait the next day to eat another one...
