Lait aux (fausses) fraises

Vous savez qu'au travail, je me payais parfois la traite avec les milkshakes de Shaken Udder. C'était le cas jusqu'à ce que j'essaie leur milkshake à la fraise (et à la clotted cream). Ce fut une déception. Vous vous rappelez le Quik aux fraises? Je crois que ça se vend encore, je peux me tromper. J'ai il y a fort longtemps fort aimé le Quik aux fraises, comme chaque enfant de mon âge, j'imagine. Mais c'était dégueulasse. Ben cette affaire-là, ça a le même goût de fraises artificielles. À un point tel que j'ai maintenant un regard plus critique envers les autres produits Shaken Udder: même leur lait à la vanille que j'aimais tant, bien je ne l'aime plus si tant que ça. La prochaine fois que je vais boire un milkshake, je vais me le faire moi même.

Sometimes I need some treat to get me through the working day and give me a boost of both endorphin and energy. And it is not so obvious to find if you are not sure what you are looking for. But I am lucky as yesterday, I rediscovered at total random the Shaken Udder brand, which I don't think I have drank since I first blogged about them in 2016. Which is strange, as I really liked it, both the product and the bottle, with its goofy cow. Anyway, the drink I tried yesterday is their vanilla milkshake and is aptly named Vanillalicious. It tastes just as it sounds. I know dairy products are not meant to be as healthy as they used to be, but no matter, sometimes on a slow, boring and dreary day you need to drink something comforting and have a protein intake. This milkshake will do just fine.

Shaken Udder's Chocolush Milkshake

I have recently discover this chocolate milkshake, aptly named Chocolush! (with an exclamation mark to give it more impact), from a brand called Shaken Udder. I know they do other flavours, banana, strawberry, vanilla and so on, but the only one I found was Chocolush. " And?"you may ask... And it is both delicious and highly addictive. I mean really, really addictive. the milkshake version of crack cocaine and I know I say this of a lot of chocolate based stuff. But in this case, it is absolutely true. You don't expect it, you just drink this milkshake, minding your own business, and within three gulps it is empty and you are left thirsty for more. The bottles we bought are simply too small to calm the craving! I know they have bigger ones, but so far I could not find them. So I am not sure if this is a plug or a warning, but here it is: Shaken Udder's Chocolush milkshake is an addictive substance!
