Jetlagged

So I am back home, feeling very jetlagged. I slept a good deal last night and was never aware that my wife got up, had a snack and watched tv. Then I woke up at about 5:00 AM very tired, but not sleepy anymore, feeling like my body was stuffed with cotton. I always find jetlag particularly difficult, especially since I am a naturally insomniac person, so the jetlag piles up over my usual sleeping disorders. That said, it does have it's interesting aspects: I become conscious of very early morning life.

Anyway, I found a way to cope with both jetlag and homesickness that always get to me after a long time home: peanut butter spreads (surprised?). It easily gets rid of the hunger that comes in the most unadequate time and it is pretty much what I would eat for breakfast or snack in Montreal.

Thanks, my jetlag is getting better indeed, after a shambolic first two days. I am still tired, but I don't fall asleep in the middle of the day. And peanut butter crackers...Interesting, I haven't eaten that since high school.
