A Lamborghini in the wild

A few days ago, as Wolfie was in a friend's birthday party, my wife and I went to one of the local shops. We saw parked by a Lamborghini, which obviously was drawing all sorts of attention. It was the first time I have seen a Lamborghini, at least in the wild. It is an impressive car, but to be honest, I think it is a foolish purchase here in the UK, given the state of the roads here. It's not exactly meant for cars built for speed. The Lamborghini truly is a car designed to impress rather than be truly practical.

Zamborghini

Yesterday, Wolfie built a with his Duplos a sort of vehicle, which he called an "ice cleaner". My father got really impressed and explained to him that it was what we call a Zamboni, used to smoothen up the ice in an arena. It was an occasion for me to get my son interested about hockey, or ice hockey as they specify here to distinguish it from the other sort of hockey which is not hockey at all. So that was that and he had his tractors play a sort of hockey, but I digress. My wife could not for the life of her get the name properly, so she started calling it a "Zamborghini". Which made me laugh a lot. It sounds like a mix between a Zamboni and a Lamborghini. As strange as it sounds, I would absolutely love to see the hybrid vehicle.

Lamborghini

My father took this picture a month ago in Old Montreal. It is not a sight we often see in Montreal or indeed anywhere else in Québec: a Lamborghini. It is impressive, although I must confess I have never been that much into Italian luxury cars like some people are. This Lamborghini (like any other car of the same brand?) looks rather futuristic with this shape and these colours. I don't think it can survive our roads in winter, but hey, because it is quite a sight, I decided to share it here tonight.
