Bonfire Toffee Tea

 Silly me: it was Bonfire Night yesterday and I forgot to mention that I found out a tea brew perfect for the occasion: Bird & Blend's Bonfire Toffee Tea. I got it as a freebie last year, with my pumpkin tea order. I don't like smoky tea generally, but this one has just a subtle smoky flavour, so it was not invasive. And it mixed nicely with the toffee flavour. I had it the morning of the 5th of November, sadly I forgot to order more for this year. I got a freebie, but not this one. But hey, if you find a Bird and Blend shop, or wishes to order some, it's the perfect tea for November. 

Spiced Pumpkin Pie

As for every autumn (because yes, it is already autumn now, even though it is way too warm at the moment), I stocked myself in the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea from Bird & Blend. Some people drink Pumpkin Spice Latte, I don't drink coffee, so I pumpkin flavoured tea is my autumn and Halloween tea. So, I bought a big pack of loose leaf tea. I received it and a few freebies, including this tea bag of the same brew. If you feel like making it yourself, you now have the whole list of ingredients.

Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea

 My Halloween would not be compelte without tea, which is my go-to non-alcoholic drink for the season. Of course, it has to be pumpkin flavoured tea. I drink the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea from Bird & Blend. There are others, but this is my favourite so far, at least on this side of the Atlantic. It's smooth, tasty, just spicy enough. I buy the 300g pouch, which should be enough to last the whole month of October and, if I am lucky, a little bit after. I think next time I will buy more, so I won't have to ration.

A Halloween Tea Advent Calendar?

 For today's countdown to Halloween post, I will blog about tea. You know that the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea from Bird & Blend is now my go-to tea for autumn, especially Halloween. Well, they also do a special Halloween Advent Calendar. I'm not sure about the name: surely Advent is a Christmas thing. But I love the idea. One different tea a day until Halloween, from their autumn collection. I'd be sure to have enough until the end of the month. And the haunted house design is just brilliant. I didn't buy it, maybe I should have had, but we are a bit late in the month now. I might do it next year, if only to show it during the countdown.

My Autumnal Tea

I have some good news I had forgotten to mention: I stocked myself in autumn tea. By this I mean that I found a brand that makes a brew that is my go-to tea for autumn and Halloween: the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea from Bird & Blend. It's like a pumpkin spice latte, only it's tea so it tastes so much better. Especially on a cold autumn day, like we've been having recently. I blogged about this brew last year, although I found Bird & Blend in 2021. This year, I bought enough to get myself stocked until Halloween and after, but I am still careful and pace my consumption of the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea to make sure I will have enough for the big day. So yes, this was today's autumn chronicle post.

I wanted to share one happy discovery I made last year. As I was getting desperate for some tea for Halloween, I found after a quick Google search the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea from Bird & Blend. I bought some last year,went through it, the experience was conclusive, so I stocked myself this year as well. I don't care about coffee and thus don't care pumpkin spice latte, so I needed some tea equivalent, both for autumn and Halloween. You know, sometimes you just want to taste the season. So I am very happy I found it. For the tea drinkers among you who also love autumn and Halloween, this is the real deal.
