New job and almost a holiday

As I already mentioned in one of my recent French posts, I received a new job offer recently. I was happily surprised: I didn't think I had done so well at the second interview. They had told me they would contact me on Tuesday, but I was busy preparing for another interview, so did not stress about not receiving news. And, like I said, I thought they were going to reject my candidacy anyway. But they gave me the news via email about an hour before end of business, right when I was about to jump into the other interview. So I did this other interview much more relaxed, knowing I had something already. I accepted it. And now, until I have my first day, I have quite a few days when I have nothing else to do but relax and prepare for my new job. It is a holiday of sorts, or almost a holiday.
