This Schleich farmer needs a name

You might remember that I once blogged about Basil and his tractor, a Schleich action figure given to Wolfie by my grandfather. Well, he has another Schleich, like Basil he is a farmer, but this one comes with a conveyor belt. As he is in a standing position, we can play a little bit more with him than his fellow farmer, although personally I find the conveyor belt less exciting than a tractor. Be that as it may, Wolfie likes him all right, but the farmer has yet to be given a name. So this is my new project: find him a name. I thought I would ask my readers on this blog. What name would you give this fellow?  I will take any suggestion you may have and will give them all to Wolfie, who will of course have final say over the result. I will tell you in a future post which name has been chosen.

Basil and his tractor

Those who have been following this blog for a while know of my son's love for tractors. It is maybe its favourite vehicle. Which means he has loads and loads of ttoy tractors, from cheap plastic stuff of very low quality, to the life like models. This is one of the latter, a Schleich tractor with trailer that also has its own farmer to drive it, its own hay bale and its own calf (!).My dad bought him this tracot for Christmas and I suspect he wanted to give his grandson the fanciest, coolest, most realistic toy tractor he could find. He also named the driver Basil, because when he himself was a child, he had a toy tractor with a farmer and he and his brother had given him the name Basil. So Wolfie is following again a family tradition.
