My Terrestrial Globe

I blogged about it French back in late January and I thought I would make a post about it in English. What you see here is another nostalgia item from my childhood. I received this globe for Christmas 1985 or 1986 (I think), from my godfather. It was a special one: there was a light in it and when you turned it on, every country was showned in a different colour. Otherwise you had mountains, forests, jungles, plains, and so on depicted, as if you were looking at it from space. I spent ages and ages just checking it, learning about different countries and cities, daydreaming about them too. One of the best presents I ever received. I might buy a globe like this for Wolfie one day, if they still exist.
