English below...Cette photo a été envoyée par mon père il y a quelques jours. La température est froide au Québec et il y a eu de la neige. Je les envie (un peu), même si je trouve que c'est un peu tôt. Enfin, les neiges d'automne ont un charme, mais ce que je vois sur la photo, c'est une bordée hivernale. Ici, il fait plus chaud que les normales saisonnières. Je me demande si le Québec n'aura pas un Halloween blanc. La dernière fois que j'ai vécu un Halloween blanc, enfin la dernière fois dont je me souvienne, c'était en 1988. Ca ne rajeunit personne.

The picture above was taken by my father a few days ago. Temperature in Quebec is cold, enough to get the first snows of the year. Here, the outside world looks like Autumn, but the temperature is a bit too warm. I prefer colder Autumns, that said maybe not to the point of having massive snow falls. That said, a small Autumn snow has its charm. I am wondering if Quebec will not have a white Halloween. Last time I remember a white Halloween was in 1988. I am not getting any younger.

C'est merveilleux que tu te rappelles de l'année. Je m'en souvient aussi, j'étais déguisé en fantôme avec un domino noir. Blanc sur fond blanc. Je suis tombé sur le cul dans l'entrée des Girard d'ailleurs. Mais, dans mon souvenir, ce n'étais pas mon premier Halloween blanc. Et c'est rare que le Québec au complet aie un Halloween blanc. Le Saguenay a de la neige avant la plupart des autres régions habitées. Mais la neige a le temps de fondre (si ce n'est pas déjà fait) d'ici samedi. On a bient eu une Action de Grâce blanche en 1995 ou 1996.
Wow! I like autumn chilly, but not that chilly :D Our Indian Summer lasted one day. It's back to cooler temperatures now, which is nice.
Hi Guillaume, we did have a few snowflakes last week but they melted as soon as they hit the ground,,, one good thing about living by the coast is having a bit more of a temperate climate.. but up over the high hills that separate us from the inland villages the snow did fall and stay a while...

Wow...I can't believe that. Honestly, it's often hard for me to believe that there is really cold weather or snow anywhere since it is perpectually hot here...ha! That's why I travel up north, just so that I can know for sure that cold does exist somewhere! :o)
