One Easter Bunny

You may remember that I was getting desperate, as there are no Easter Bunny this year at M&S, which is patently absurd. Well, there are some elsewhere. Not many, to my chagrin, not very big, but some all the same. Anyway, last week I went to the local Lidl and I bought this one, which I shared today with Wolfie. As you can see, I can hold it in my hands and it's really a far cry from what I am used to, but it tasted delicious all the same. Maybe I went there too late and bigger models were gone, I don't know. But hey, it's a proper Easter chocolate rabbit, he even holds a basket of eggs.

It's clementime!

One thing I love when November comes, it's that clementines are at their best. Or start being at their best, I eat them ravenously between November and December. So I associate clementines strongly with these two month, enough so I call it clementime (atrocious pun, I know, but cute). I bought these at Lidl, where I was happily surprised to see they sold them in boxes, like we have in Montreal. They should go in no time and I will buy some more. They make for an easy, healthy snack and they smell good too.

Halloween Choco-Lollies

I bought these recently at Lidl. They have a great section of sweets and food for Halloween. Not so much because of the taste of the food, but because of the wrapping and packaging. They have scarecrow Jack O'Lanterns as their sort of mascots and I love it. It's just spooky enough, it's atmospheric and not gory at all. I bought some stuff for trick or treat, but these I might keep for the faily. I would keep the wrapping if I could.

J'ai acheté cet écureuil en chocolat l'an dernier à Lidl.

Easter (chocolate) Bunny

I bought this bunny last year at the nearest Lidl. One of the many, many, many Easter chocolates I bought last year. That is pretty much how I prepare for Easter: I buy chocolates, enough to be "Easter rich" as Wolfie puts it. My wife finds me excessive, but it only comes once a year and I just love hoarding chocolates. It's also a family tradition to be excessive on holidays. There are all sorts of chocolates for Easter, but at least one of them must be a bunny. Don't ask me why, it just has. A big one, preferably. And, while I got loads of eggs and a hen, I haven't bought a chocolate bunny yet. And Easter is in less than a week. Time for another trip to the shops.
