May's End

Today is the last day of May, in case you didn't notice. How was it for you? Here, it has been a bipolar month: it went from cold to hot to cold. Almost more like April than May. Sometimes May is summery, like a rehearsal of summertime, this was the case yesterday and the day before, but two weeks ago, it was properly, unexpectedly and surprisingly autumn cold. Which, as you most likely know (if you have been following this blog a bit), doesn't bother me in the least. All in all, it has been bearable, which is more than I usually get in May. I hope the coming months will be similar, with bearable temperatures and not too hot. So that was my May anyway.

Our weather has been up and down too. Our forest fires are already bad, too. People are being evacuated from northern towns across the prairies.
