Monday with the family

As I had (and still have) a lot of leave to take this year, I took today off to spend time with my wife and my son. It was a family day. It still feels new to call such free time family time and to think ourselves as a family, not only a couple. So today we went to a "play and learn" group my wife goes to sometimes with little Wolfie. He gets weighted, he spends time with other kids and the mummys sing nursery rhymes and socialize and so on. I was the only dad there. It was a nice moment to spent and little Wolfie enjoys it a lot. Then we went downtown for lunch. My wife and I had been reluctant to spend long period of time out with our son, as he gets tired and impatient and tends to cry at some point. But, like the mother of blonde Tickler told us: "Don't worry about this: babies do cry; they are babies, that is what they do. If some people cannot accept this, sod them." These are words of wisdom and a new great unknown line, so we decided to follow her advise. Wolfie did cry, but we are getting the hang of it and manage to calm him down. So anyway, that was my Monday with my family.

sounds like a good day! If anyone expects babies to not cry they have obviously not been around babies much, its the only way they have to let us know something is not making them happy,
