Smuggler

This is the label of Smuggler, a beer from Rebellion Beer. They make quality products and it is one of my favorite microbreweries. Smuggler is available all year round, but I prefer to drink it during summertime. I usually drink it at The Ship, where I sit in the beer garden with a book to read, preferably some adventure or crime fiction story. When it is hot and sunny, it is pure bliss. Recently, I have started reading about piracy. It struck me that the grim bearded face of the smuggler on the label could as well be a pirate. Which makes the drinking of this beer all the more appropriate.
