Moody Monday Music

I thought this blog needed more music. I didn't know what to upload, I hesitated, thought things over, pondered about it. Then it hit me. I am not the biggest fan of Quentin Tarantino, but I always enjoyed Pulp Fiction, more for its atmosphere than the plot and characters. I love old, hardboiled crime fiction and I cannot stay insensitive to the homage to the genre the movie is at its core. So I love its atmosphere and that means its music. Say what you want about Tarantino (I probably said it before, he does get on my nerves), but he has an ear for good music. So I thought I would upload a song from the soundtrack. Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield, to be precise. I know it is ironic to upload here a song about the son of a preacher as I am a Godless man. But I love the song for its atmosphere and its mood.  It is Monday night, it is raining outside, this song is fitting enough.

It's a great foot tapping song, or a song to listen to with a glass in the end.
