Horror Hotel

I took this picture in Brighton. More specifically, at the Brighton Pier. During what people now call Summerween, in the middle of a hot day, as I am getting more and more into a spooky mood and longing for Halloween, this is a lovely sight. As a child, I used to love to go to such place, although my parents rarely allowed me to. Haunted and cursed hotels are great settings for horror stories, by the way. I might work on one. Be that as it may, this sight gives me a pleasant shiver.

  1. We once secretly entered an old asylum. As I am the smallest they helped me in first. The second was unsporty and obese - I was in there by myself for over 20 minutes. The third one having her on the shoulders, me trying to help her in, it was.... Halloween-ey a bit? Turn around once and there is no door... That was before mobile phones etc etc... Was I happy to jump out the window unharmed in the end. One flashlight only and when I asked how old the batteries are...
    Thank you for the memory.

  3. Was it a ride or a walk through? Did you go in. Your parents can no longer tell you what to do.
