I blogged about it about two weeks ago, in French, I found the subject so fascinating that I am blogging about it again. Wolfie doesn't talk much about his day at school, when he goes home, he wants to switch off and do other things. When he does talk about it, he often focuses about what he did during play time. And of this, he speaks extensively. And enthusiastically. I don't know all the details, but he is second in command in a make belief game that consists on guarding, propecting and implementing The Base. A sort of headquarter, a camp or some sort of residence. This reminds me of my own childhood games. We always had a base, either called a base or a camp, where our characters spent time. It was often a part of a garden, or a porch. There was an almost mystical quality to it. And I find it fascinating that it still exists in children's psyche nowadays.
I think children play-act different variations on "home."
