Gilgamesh

This picture was shared yesterday on the Facebook page of the British Museum. It represents Gilgamesh and his sidekick Enkidu from, well, the Epic of Gilgamesh. The very first literary work, or at least the oldest surviving one. Which I actually have here, actually, I bought it I cannot remember when, just never got around to read it. But I intend to do it and this picture from the British Museum reminded me of it.
